We have received many questions regarding licences. Here’s a clarification:

Offroad Finnmark want to hand out cash prizes in our races. To be allowed to do so, the race must be listed as an “active” race. This again requires the cyclists to have an extended license (EXT). In Norway it costs NOK 900.

The reason we operate with two different classes is that many participating in our races do not have ambitions to win. In order for them not to have to pay NOK 900, they can participate in our tour group. Here only a regular license is required for NOK 650 or a one-time license for NOK 200.

In the case of foreign riders, all full-year licenses will be ok to participate in “active” race class..
