SmartDok OF300k Team

Offroad Finnmark begins the moment you sign up.

300 kilometers of spectacular scenery, challenging terrain, and an experience you’ll never forget. SmartDok OF300k Team combines untamed wilderness, athletic challenges, fantastic food, a unique sense of camaraderie, and memories that will last a lifetime.

You’ll cycle through the Finnmark wilderness and the core Sámi region—a landscape that has been used for hunting, fishing, and reindeer herding for thousands of years. The result is a mountain bike race that combines magnificent natural experiences with a challenge you’ll hardly find anywhere else.

The trail winds through some of the most spectacular scenery Finnmark has to offer. Along the way, you’ll pass several staffed checkpoints at mountain lodges and village halls, where our volunteers will welcome you with food, assistance, and care.

The SmartDok OF300k Team race begins Thursday afternoon in downtown Alta. Most teams are expected to finish on Friday.

Riders must bring their own necessary personal equipment. Hot and cold food and drinks are served at all checkpoints.

Private support is allowed, with the exception of certain checkpoints. See the information below Checkpoint Offers.

Offroad Finnmark offers equipment transport, technical service, and full checkpoint service throughout the race.

Our volunteers do everything they can to help you succeed. Among other things, they offer technical support, bike washing, and practical assistance along the way. Their goal is simple: to give you the best possible experience. Their efforts leave a lasting impression on the vast majority of participants.

Age restriction: 18 years old. (You can participate if you turn 18 during the year of the event.)

Offers at the checkpoints in 2026

The time in the column "Note! time check-out" column is based on approximately half the time of the top riders. This means a steady pace to reach the finish line at 12:00 on Saturday.

Essentially, you only need to pay extra attention to the last two checkpoints. If the team is worryingly far behind early in the race, and/or near the “absolute final checkpoint,” the race director will speak with you and assess whether it’s possible to make the deadline.

**Private support is not permitted at the Joatka, Bojobeaski, and Vuolit Molleš checkpoints.

*** Technical bag for technical car / mechanic. Equipment for your bike.

    Hot food:

All dishes are lactose-free—Stroganoff, Finnbiff, and oatmeal contain milk protein.

    All dishes are gluten-free

    All dishes are nut-free

Alternatives to hot dishes will be provided for all registered allergies before July 10

*1 hour compulsory rest at an optional checkpoint, riders delivering bags ONLY meet at Šuoššjávri.
**Private support is not permitted at the Joatka, Bojobeaski, and Vuolit Molleš checkpoints.**

**** Technical bag for technical car / mechanic. Equipment for your bike.

****At Tutteberget, they serve bananas, oatmeal, and hard-boiled eggs

Cold food (X): cold oatmeal, omelet with ham, hard-boiled eggs, bread, polar bread, cold cuts (cheese, ham, Nugatti, jam, etc.), bananas, potato chips. GPS/GPX Track 2026

GPS/GPX tracks "one by one" 2026

    GPS/GPX

    Option A:

When you download “OFxxx_stages,” you’ll get a file containing all the legs for the selected race (OF150, OF300, or OF700). This means that when you use the file on your GPS device, you must activate a new track for each checkpoint. Note: Make sure you get all the stages loaded. Some GPS devices have trouble with this.

    Option B:

If you download a file from the “All-files” subfolder, you’ll get a file for the entire race. Please note that the files for OF300 and OF700 may contain more waypoints than some older GPS devices can handle. Make sure the entire file loads onto your device.

    Option C:

If you can't get all the segments to work on your device, you can download the segments one by one from the "One-by-one" folder.

Instructions for transferring tracks to a Garmin Edge:

    1. Download the files using our link and save them locally on your PC or Mac.
    2. Connect your GPS to your PC or Mac using a cable
    3. Copy the GPX file to the "New files" folder on your 1030.
    4. Disconnect your GPS by tapping the "Safely Eject and Disconnect" icon.
    5. Test to make sure all the tracks are working.

If you have a newer Garmin GPS, you can also use the free Connect app to transfer the tracks to your device. There, the track (GPX file) is converted into a route that helps you navigate.

Instructions for retrieving a route from Connect:

      1. Download the files using our link and save them locally on your PC, Mac, or phone.
      2. Log in to Connect on your PC or Mac, or to the web version of Connect on your phone. You cannot use the phone app for this.
      3. Upload the GPX file to Connect via "Import Data"
      4. The next time you sync your GPS device, the route will be ready to use.
