We have received many questions regarding license. Here’s a clarification:

Offroad Finnmark want to hand out cash prizes in our races. To be allowed to do so, the race must be listed as an «active» race. This again requires the cyclists to have an extended license(EXT). In Norway it costs 900 NOK.

The reason we operate with two different classes is that many participating in our races do not have ambitions to win. In order for them to not have to pay 900 NOK, they can participate in our tour group. Here only a regular license is required for 650 NOK or one-time license for 200 NOK.

In the case of foreign riders, all full-year licenses will be ok to participate in «active» race class..
