Practical info 2021

February is approaching and we are in full swing with planning for this year’s ride. At this time of year, the board also spends a lot of time on strategy work, as well as the sporting committee putting the final touches on the plans for the summer. This has resulted in some news, as well as some practical information.

Limited number of participants
As part of this year’s strategic work, we have decided to set a limit on the number of participants in our rides. The reason for this is, among other things, consideration for nature, the feeling of quality on the ride and capacity at checkpoints. We want to deliver world-class service, and we can do that with the number we have arrived at. The ceiling is set at the following numbers:

DNB OF150: 200 riders
SmartDok OF300: 110 layers
Ishavskraft OF700: 25 layers
Ishavskraft OF700 SOLO: 30 riders (depending on the number of teams on the OF700)

Start time Ishavskraft OF700 Solo
The men’s class and the women’s class start on Monday at 21:00. They then start together with the mixed, women’s and men’s tour class of 700 teams. Men’s elite starts on Tuesday at 09.00.
